After looking into various different shipping carriers, TSD felt that the most business and customer friendly shipping carrier available was global shipping leader Federal Express, and now utilizes their services as the primary method of shipping GPS tracking and surveillance security products to customers. TSD would like for every customer to know that their business is valued, and this is why every order placed online that is over $100.00 will automatically qualify for FREE SHIPPING via Fedex Ground. In an effort to address some of the more frequent questions customers have regarding shipping, TSD has provided the following questions and answers to help provide clarity to those with common shipping concerns.
What If I Need A Personal Tracking System Tomorrow?
TSD offers free ground shipping on all orders, but for those customers in need of GPS fleet tracking technology as soon as possible, expedited delivery options are also available. If a customer has an urgent need for a vehicle tracker, TSD offers a Next Day delivery option for $45.00, and a more cost-effective delivery service of 2nd Day Air for $20.00.
Will Fedex Deliver On Saturdays?
If an order is placed through the online store on a Friday and the Next Day delivery option was selected, customers need to be aware that the package will not arrive until Monday. Standard Fedex Overnight refers to the next business day, but if a customer must have a package delivered on a Saturday a representative at TSD can contact Fedex and make special arrangements. However, it is important to note that the shipping cost will be more expensive than standard Overnight delivery, and the customer will be responsible for those additional costs.
What If I Want Products Shipped To A Post Office Box?
Even though Fedex is the primary shipping carrier for TSD that does not mean the GPS tracking specialists are not willing to work with the United States Postal Service (USPS) if a customer needs a package sent to a P.O. Box. If a customer requires expedited shipping to a P.O. Box the same shipping costs associated with Fedex will apply. Free shipping is also offered via USPS for standard delivery.
Do I Have To Sign For The Package?
Since tracking systems can cost upwards of $500.00, TSD requires that all packages must be signed for before the product is released from the shipping carrier selected. Packages will not be left at the front door of any business or residential home. Although packages do require a signature for release, they do not require direct signature by the purchaser. As long as an adult is available, they can sign for the product’s release.
What If I Need My Package Dropped Off At My House?
TSD understands some people have busy lives with work and family, therefore if a customer is in no way shape or form able to be available or have someone else available to sign for a package a TSD representative can have the indirect signature removed. However, it is very important to note that the customer must first call and speak with a representative about this option beforehand, and TSD will not be held liable if a package is lost because signature was removed. The customer will also be required to send in an email stating they understand that if a package does not show up that TSD is not liable because the customer chose to have the signature removed at their request.
What If I Did Not Receive A Tracking Number?
Tracking numbers are sent to a customer’s email through an automated process. Therefore, if you did not receive and email containing a tracking number to follow the delivery process of an order, please double check your order to make certain that the correct email address was provided. If the customer inserted the incorrect email address or for some other reason did not receive an automated email with tracking information, please contact the TSD shipping department for assistance. A shipping specialist with TSD can always manually access tracking number information.
